The End or The Beginning?

SPM over.. Graduation dinner over.. Farewells said? I hope not... 13 years of schooling is finished... An accomplishment? I'd like to believe that... But the most important thing i have achieved in the past 13 years was making my frens...

Wah! Last night was so sad.. Graduation dinner... Dunno when we'll all be gathered like that again... 5 years? 10 years? Maybe more... and even then will we all be able to make it? who can tell... maybe by then Clarence will be a daddy already! maybe Lionel and Brandon migt be married already... Heck.. Changmei might even be a princess by then! but the dinner was great! thanks KCY! The best part was seeing everyone so dazzling... wonderful!

But everyone seems to be taking farewell wrongly... Of course its sad la! Cannot see your fren for dunno how long... maybe never even meet again.. everyone will be everywhere... maybe some don't even have internet connection (ME...i hope not)... some even worse... too lazy to keep in touch with fren... Maybe we should look at farewell in a different way (hope i don't sound to over optimistic cos farewells do so totally SUCK)... Anyways... Like i was saying.. Farewells are something that must happen one... Its like no matter what must have one... its the necessity that prevents chaos (irrelevant)... Its the only thing that teaches us to value the friendship we have... To test the bonds we have forged.., The relations we have made... To become better frens... (Honestly! This not some bullshit that i write to sound philosphical la!)... Don't you feel inspired?

But seriously, farewells really do make us appreciate what we have... When you are away in a far off place... and all alone.. I'll bet you'll miss your frens.. I know i will... and when you need a listening ear, a crying shoulder, or a comforting smile... You'll think of your frens... Those will be tough times... But the precious memories we hold dear with our frens will always remain close at heart...

Farewells do not mean the end of friendships... It means the beginning of new friendships and the strengthening of old ones... Edine said it best when she ciplak someones quote (sorry edine... dont send your mafia after me!) and said: The moment is gone, but the memories live on forever...
